What is an Escape Room?
An escape game is a real-life experience where participants are locked in a room and must use elements of the room, the group’s collective knowledge, and wits to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape and/or find the missing item within a set amount of time.
Will I be locked in a room?
Not all of our rooms are actually locked. If the door is locked, there will be an emergency exit button that you can press to exit. Be warned that exiting the room will end your game.
How long does the whole experience take?
The check-in & check-out processes take about 15 minutes each so plan for an additional 30 minutes on top of the time limit for your room.
Will other people be in the room with us?
Nope. At The Game Vault, all of our rooms are private! We will never stick you in a room full of strangers... unless you're into that sort of thing.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your brains and intellect. Everything you need to be successful and solve all of the puzzles is located in the room. You do not need any outside knowledge and we promise that Google will not help you win. 😉
Is there an age limit?
Whether you’re 14, 114, or somewhere in between, escape rooms are great
entertainment! With that in mind, our puzzles are meant to be challenging
for adults. Children between 10-14 are welcome to play but they might not enjoy
the experience as much as others.
Any players under 18 must be
accompanied by one parent/guardian/chaperone.
